Meetings for 2011-12 are: • August 10,2011 (SUHSD, Birch Conference Room- 480 James Street) • October 12, 2011 • December 14, 2011 • February 8, 2012 • April 11, 2012 • June 13, 2012 RC 2020 Cabinet Role: Oversees operational coordination of RC 2020 initiatives by providing supervision and direction to the executive director, reviewing program data and making recommendations to the Coordinating Council regarding policy, program and resource issues, identifying problems and developing suggestions for solutions, building and maintaining collaborative relationships, assisting with development and monitoring of resources, and promoting integration of efforts. Membership: Each RC 2020 partner organization (one that contributes at least $25,000/year to support the collaborative) is entitled to membership in the Cabinet. Typically, the member will be the chief executive officer of the organization or serve at the senior management level. Structure: The Cabinet will annually select from its membership a Chair, who will be responsible for leading the meetings of the Cabinet, serving as liaison with the Coordinating Council, and working with the executive director to develop meeting agendas. This position will rotate among partner organizations. The Cabinet will appoint a Personnel Subcommittee, which includes the current chair, to provide support and supervision for the RC 2020 executive director. Meetings: The Cabinet will meet 6 times during the year, on the fourth Wednesday of January, March, May, August, September, and November, from 9:00-10:30 AM at City Hall in Redwood City.
