Safety Goals and Principles: <br /> Encoura9e, through the process of appointing and assigning a citizen <br /> task group including staff,'a study of the City's building regulations <br /> having application to existjng buildings, to determine the necessity <br /> and feaS;iGility for changes,to such minimum safety standards and criteria. <br /> The findings of the task group to be set forth in the form of a written <br /> report and recommendations for consideration by the City Council as an <br /> amendment to the Historic Landmarks Element. <br /> CLARIFICATION: that it is the intent of the motion that the Mayor and �ice <br /> Mayor would have the latitude to�determine the composition of the citizens <br /> appointed to the proposed task force.
