LelpZlg __ , duly carried and entered <br /> on che m�auces, it was ordered to (1) direct the staff to review bidding <br /> procedures and to look at requirements imposed by the City on <br /> bidders; (2� expand the areas over which the City calls for <br /> bids; and (3) look into the possibility of arranging with the <br /> State for purchase of vehicles. <br /> It was the consensus of Council that the motion anticipates <br /> a staff report with regard to review of present bidding pro- <br /> cedures and a recommendation regarding the best technique to <br /> use to insure that the�Gity's advertisement reaches the <br /> largest number of potential bidders with a view to obtaining <br /> the lowest possible bid.
