MINUTE ORDER <br /># 79 -100 <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br />DATE May 14, 1979 <br />Attention Finance Director <br />Assistant City Manager <br />In the Matter of CETA Program <br />At the meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on <br />May 12, 1979 - BUDGET STUDY SESSION , at which were present <br />Councilmen Biagi, Bury, Chandler, Leipzig, Rhodes and Mayor Barrett <br />on motion of Councilman Bury seconded by <br />Councilman Chandler <br />, duly carried and entered <br />on the minutes, it was ordered <br />to approve the third - alternative suggested by the City Manager <br />in his report of May 2, 1979 and retain a limited number of <br />CETA participants hired into existing classifications, paying <br />entry level wages (under $12,000) and fund the entire cost from <br />CETA allocations by means of reducing salaries in contracts, and <br />to proceed with it for the following clerical positions <br />Library Assistant 1 <br />Clerk Typist I 5 (formerly classed as office workers) <br />Account Clerk 1 <br />7 <br />CITY / CLERK <br />C— <br />
