MINUTE ORDER <br /># 79 -142 <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br />DATE July 17, 1979 <br />Attention City Manager <br />City Attorney <br />Planning Director <br />Acting Director of Public Works <br />In the Matter of Local Agency Formation Commission request of <br />Board of Supervisors to initiate annexation to City <br />At the meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on <br />July 16, 1979 , at which were present <br />Councilman Biagi, Bury, Chandler, Leipzig, Norris, Stangel and <br />Mayor Rhodes <br />, <br />on motion of Councilman Norri s , seconded by <br />Councilman Chandler , duly carried and entered <br />on the minutes, it was ordered to accept the staff recommendation contained <br />in the Report of the City Manager of July 12, 1979, and that the City <br />Manager communicate that decision to the San Mateo County Board of <br />Supervisors <br />(Recommendations as follows <br />1 to annex the area designated "Portion of New High School Acres <br />adjacent to Alameda de las Pulgas and Harding Avenue ", subject <br />to conditions. <br />a) that the unimproved creek should be improved as a Condition <br />of Annexation, <br />b) that the capacity of Kensington Square Sewer for 72 homes <br />(0.01922 MCD) should be transferred to the City from the <br />Kensington Square Sewer Maintenance Districts, and <br />2 to object strongly to the Annexation of the two areas designated <br />as "Emerald Lake Estates -Rocky Way" and "Emerald Lake Estates- <br />Summit Way" for reasons having to do with planning considerations, <br />physical and fiscal problems and sanitary sewage capacity allocations <br />CITY CLE <br />
