MINUTE ORDER <br /># 79 -22 <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br />DATE February 6, 1979 <br />Attention City Manager Public Works Director <br />Assistant City Manager Parks and Recreation Director <br />City Attorney Planning Director <br />Finance Director <br />In the Matter of Community Development Block Grant Application <br />re deletion of Chestnut Street project and <br />reallocations of funds for remodeling Veterans <br />Memorial Building for Senior Citizens needs <br />(See also Minute Order No 79 -23) <br />At the meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on <br />February 5, 1979 , at which were present <br />Councilmen Biagi, Bury, Chandler, Leipzig, Norris,. Rhodes and <br />Mayor Barrett <br />on motion of Councilman Biagi seconded by <br />Counulman Norris duly carricd and entered <br />on the minutes, it was ordered as follows <br />1) the staff be directed to prepare an <br />amendment to the 1978 -79 CDBG program <br />which deletes the funds allocated to <br />the Chestnut Street project, and <br />2) the staff be directed to prepare an <br />amendment to the 1978 -79 CDBG program <br />which reallocates those funds from the <br />Chestnut Street project to remodeling <br />the Veterans Memorial Building to pro - <br />vide'for the needs of the senior citizen <br />organizations which use the building and <br />the remaining funds to planning and <br />project work associated with the Main <br />Street area revitalization and redevelop- <br />ment <br />CITY CLERK <br />jol— <br />
