210 <br /> Env�ronmental Impact Report for <br /> Port of Redwood C�ty Area <br /> City Manager Fales referred to h�s report of April 8, 1977 regarding <br /> a proposed amendment to the agreement with Hart-Krivatsy-Stubee, Inc <br /> relat�ng to the Port Area Baseline Environmental Impact Report and <br /> attaching the proposed amendment and also a copy of a memorandum from <br /> the Port Manager, dated April 7, wh�ch assures funding for the add�- ,� <br /> tional work involved <br /> Discussion followed and Mr Fales and C�ty and Port Attorney Schricker <br /> ' commented and replied to questions concerning the preference for <br /> formal action by the Port Commission with regard to their w�lling- <br /> ness to provide funds for the add�tional work, the need to proceed <br /> with the work �mmediately, the cooperation already demonstrated by <br /> HKS, Inc , the expressed intent�on of the Port Commiss�on and the <br /> difficulties which prevented their taking formal act�on before the <br /> item was presented to Counc�l, acknowledgement of the fact that if <br /> Council executes the agreement with the consultant, the initial <br /> obligation is between the consultant and the City, and the importance <br /> of including the Port-owned property on the north side of Redwood <br /> Creek and certain privately owned lands immedtately west of that <br /> property in the Baseline EIR <br /> MOTION Title hav�ng been read, Counc�lman B�agi �ntroduced the <br /> following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Vega, its <br /> adoption <br /> RESOLUTION NO 7787 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZIN6 EXECUTION OF AGREE- <br /> MENT FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AN ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> IMPACT REPORT RELATING TO THE EXPANSION OF THE SCOPE OF THE <br /> STUDY AREA FOR SUCH REPORT <br /> � The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote � <br /> Pavement Marker Demonstration Pro�ect <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of April 7, 1977 regarding <br /> the sub�ect pro�ect and attaching report from the Director of Public <br /> Works, dated April 4 Mr Fales advised that only one manufacturer <br /> � of the needed pavement marking materials ex�sts <br /> � MOTION Councilman Qury moved, seconded by Counc�lman Vega, to <br /> suspend the 6idding requ�rements of Article VII, of Chapter 2, <br /> regarding the purchase of pavement markers <br /> City Attorney Schricker requested a roll call vote stnce a 5/7th5 <br /> vote of Council is required for the action antic�pated <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call v �MINUTE ORDER NO 77-74) <br /> Award of b�ds, re�ection of bid - four automobiles <br /> Mayor Leipzig advised that staff has requested that the sub�ect item ' <br /> be cont�nued until April 18, 1977 <br /> -5- <br /> Reg Mtg <br /> 4/11/77 <br />
