Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Barrett, that a letter be addressed to the City Council of the City of San Carlos calling to their attention the reasons for the denial by the City Council of the City of Redwood City of the application of the San Mateo County Scavenger Company for construction of a Solid Waste Transfer Station at a site near the location under consideration in San Carlos, further, that reference be made to the consideration given to San Carlos by Redwood City in accommodating the concerns of San Carlos with regard to the San Carlos Airport and the Holly Street Interchange, and that consideration of Redwood City's reasons for re,7ecting the transfer station at the proposed site be requested (NOTE See City Council Minutes of Public Hearing of November 1 � and 8, 1976 The motion to uphold the decision of the Planning Commission and deny the appeal of the San Mateo County Scavenger Company is as follows . -9- Reg Mtg 5/23/77
