Vince Wanmayer, Redwood Shores Homeowners Association (RSHA) <br /> displayed photographs of the condit�ons existing at the parks <br /> under construction in Redwood Shores and urged that poten- <br /> ttally hazardous conditions be corrected <br /> City Manager Fales reported that he had rece�ved a request <br /> from Councilman Norris on Che status of the park improvements <br /> on May 6 and had sent him on May 20 a deta�led status report <br /> prepared on May 18 by the Director of Parks and Recreation. <br /> Mr. Fales observed that the report has been made avatlable <br /> to Council and the public and that no change has occurred <br /> since that date Mr. Fales noted that the contractor is in <br /> bankruptcy and the insurance company has accepted the re- � <br /> spons�bility to perform on the contract for development of <br /> the parks ` <br /> In response to question, City Attorney Schricker advised that <br /> improvements to the parks by the City would involve interference <br /> with contractual arrangements and �eopardize the City's legal <br /> position with re9ard to not wishing to waive the right to <br /> require performance by the bonding company Mr Schricker <br /> suggested that perhaps RSHA might wish to approach the Balboa <br /> Insurance Company with their statements regarding dangerous <br /> conditions on the park sites <br /> Jack Penn 367 Quay Lane, camnented concerning possible hazards <br /> existing on the park sites and urged that the condition be <br /> corrected <br /> Executive Session <br /> MOTION Councilman Bury moved, seconded by Counc�lman Biagi, to <br /> ad�ourn to executive session for the purpose of considerin9 matters <br /> of litigat�on and to reconvene solely for the purpose of ad�ourning. <br /> The mot�on carried unan�mously by voice vote <br /> The Counc�l ad�ourned to execut�ve session at 9 45 p.m. � <br /> Ad�ournment <br /> Upon motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the Council ad�ourned <br /> at 10 05 p.m <br /> JACQUELINE C.
