. ; 3 60 , Councilman Norris stated for the record that he opposes the motion because he believes that cortenercial properties that are dissimilar have been assigned a 20� increase in value without sufficient study- and that he has identified pieces of property which have not exper- 7enced any recent increase in Distr�ct tax. Mayor Leipzig stated for the record that it has been discussed that , it is acknowledged that within the residential property some in- equit�es exist which will have to be resolved by individual investt,- gat�on and that exactly the same is true for some cor�nercial � properties. However, Mayor Leipn g said, the properties have been, treated equally as the same factors have been applied to all� pro�er,t,Yes., The motion carried on the following roll call vote Ayes• Counc�lmen Barrett, Bury, Rhodes, Vega and Mayor Lei�zig; Noes: Councilmen Biagi, Norris (MINUTE ORDER NO 7J-167i), MOTION Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Vega, that before any proposals are brought forward to the City Council that call for a change in financial plan or cause Council to take a firs,t step toward authorizing new bonds that a complete evaluation of all property, both residential and cortmercial, be done within the General Improvement District No. 1-64. In response to question, Director of Finance Ference advised he - would provide information on the cost of such an evaluation bef,or,e undertaking it Mr Ference advised that possibly the evaluation could be done in con�unction with the County and result in cutti�ng costs for both participants. � The motion carried unam mously by voice vote (MINUTE ORDER N0, 77-168) Ad�ournment � MOTION Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes„ that the Board of Equalization for GID No 1-64 ad�ourn s,ine die The motion carried unanimously by voice vote.
