The public hearing was closed at 7 42 p.m MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Norris introduced the following ordinance and moved, seconded by Councilman Vega, its approval for first reading• ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 3 1, 3.3, AND 3.4 OF, AND ADDING SECTION 24 6 T0, ORDINANCE NO 1130, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO TP-W ZONING DISTRICTS The ord�nance was approved unanimously by roll call vote. Approval of Final Map (F77-08) Marlin Subdivision No 5 Unit No. 2, for 56-lot subdivision on Redwood Shores, easterlv side of Pe m nsula Parkwav at Marlin_ Drive - Donald L Bren Co. City Manager Fales referred to the Planning Corrnm ssion Minutes and � the Planning Department report on the sub�ect Final Map. � In response to question, Assistant City Attorney Maloney adv�sed that the Bay Conservation and Development Commiss�on (BCDC) has not ruled regarding the City's request that their permit be amended to delete their request regarding publtc access and calling attention to the fact that approval of subdivisions is a City Council function. Mr. Maloney advised further that the ECDC Design Approval Subcommittee has made recommendations regarding par6cing but not the use of streets David Coombs, Donald L. Bren Company, 1990 North California Boulevard, Walnut Creek, advised that the BCDC Subcommittee is a lay board and did not want to become involved in the legal aspects regarding �ur- isdiction as to public streets.
