Dragan, Jardine, Johnson and Pres�dent Mauk <br /> Commissioners absent Keckley <br /> Officials and staff present: City Manager Fales, Port Manager <br /> D� Pietro, Assistant C�ty Manager Smith, Assistant City Attorney <br /> Maloney, Director of Parks and Recreation Weeks, Director of Public <br /> Works Pus�ch, Director of Finance Ference, Police Chief Bo1d, Deputy ' <br /> City Clerk Reggetts <br /> Possible 7ransfer of Admim strat�on of the <br /> Municipal Marina to the Port of Redwood City <br /> President Mauk began the discussion and advised that the position of <br /> the Board of Port Commissioners was stated in the minutes of their <br /> meeting of Au9ust 4, 1977. He read the follow�ng motion made and <br /> passed at that meeting <br /> "The Board of Port Commiss�oners support the transfer of the Redwood <br /> City Marina to the Port, sub�ect to the following actions and con- <br /> ditions having been met. <br /> "1) that the lease agreement with Safren Development Company <br /> is executed, <br /> "2) that the City of Redwood City declares that it is its <br /> desire to make the transfer, <br /> "3) that the terms of the agreement to transfer do not re- <br /> qutire the Port to make any transfer of funds or payment <br /> to the City." <br /> President Mauk indicated that the matter of the possible transfer had ' <br /> been discussed at length at several of their meetings, and the con- <br /> sensus was that the Marina should cont�nue to be maintained as a <br /> mar�na, open to the public, but that it should be self-supporting. <br /> Joint Mtg. <br /> w/Port <br /> 8/25/77 <br /> d'J � <br />
