Councilman Vega moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to approve the Minutes of the City Council Meeting of October 3, 1977 and Executive Session of October 3, 1977 as submitted. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote Presentation by Chamber of Commerce of Redwood C�ty of a Redwood City song � Introductory comments were made by 6uy Thompson, Vice President, Commu�ity Development of the Chamber of Commerce, and Bob Lane, of �� the Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, regarding the creation of the song, and its acceptance by the Chamber of Commerce Mr Lane then introduced Alan Dote, who had collaborated with Jim Cox in wr�ting the song Mr pote advised that presentation was to be of a dem- onstration tape on which both instrumental and vocal had been per- formed by him The recording of "Redwood City" was then played ' for consideration by the Council Reg Mtg 10/i0/77 f �
