Mr. Fales called attention to the letter of February 17 <br /> from the D�rector of Public Works to Eugene Ketleher, Assistant <br /> General Manager of Operations and Maintenance of the San francisco <br /> Water Department regarding the City's conclusion that the Redwood <br /> Shores area is within the Redwood City service area and Mr. Kelleher's <br /> reply of February 22 confirming that that conclusion is correct. Mr. <br /> ° Fales adv�sed that having Redwood Shores considered as a port�on of <br /> the overall Redwood City water service area makes it unnecessary to <br /> establish some sort of building moratorium on that area as might <br /> otherwise have beeo necessary. <br /> Mr.-Fales further advised that while prospective bu�lders had been <br /> not�fied during past weeks that water connection permits were not <br /> available, the notificat�on was a precautionary measure, and �t now <br /> ' appears that water hookups will be poss�ble. In response to question, <br /> Mr. Fa1es stated that those cautioned w�11 be not�f�ed of the change <br /> and that perm�ts will be is`sued. <br /> Mr. Fales commented on the excellent assistance staff had received <br /> from the bu�ldin9 industry and building trades in work�ng out the <br /> water hookup problems. <br /> , Adj.Mtg. <br /> 2/28/77 <br />
