MOTION Councilman Leipzig moved, seconded by Councilman Biagi, to add as Ob�ective No. 10 that the City Council establish a closer working relationship with the elementary school�district in order to formulate �oint goals and ob�ectives which result in the assur- ance that a quality learning experience is being offered in Redwood City. D�scussion by Council followed, with the assumption expressed that ' the City's responsib�lities would relate to traff�c and similar services, but without involvement in the quality of education. Mayor Barrett responded that his suggestion concerns beoinn�ng discussion to bring about �oint ob�ectives and goals, and to at least begin a �oint plann�ng effort.
