Herkner Memorial Trust Fund and $150,000 in Revenue Sharing Funds. _ In response to questions, Mr. Fales advised that the professionat ' �J �`ees �nvolve serv7ces of various eng7neering experts as well as those of an architect and that the agreement includes inspection. � Mr Fales stated for the record that th2 recommendation to renovate the cornmun�ty pool is being made in accordance with the regular Annual B:adget but advised that +he pro,7ect could be eliminated en- tirely in the event the proposed furds inust be used elsewhere should the Jarv�s-Gann Initiative pass in June. Mayor Leipz�g noted that Councal has had a day-long meeting on the status of programs in the 1977-78 Annual Budget and on the possible impact of the passage or the Jarv�s-6ann Initiative on the 1978-79 Budget. She stated for the record that no representative of the local newspaper was present all dzy to report what had transpired, stat�ng rurther that she does not believe �t to be �n the best in- terest of the community to publish parts of a report prepared and issued last week as news coverage of today's meeting. Counc7lman Bury, member of the Herkner Correnittee, stated he beiieves it is importar�t to proceed with the proposed agreement now, noting that former Mayor Herkner left $100,000 to the citlzens of Redwood a Gzty for such a pro�ect.
