� 113 <br /> Mr Fales noted that three months ago the City called the a,ttention <br /> of the Transit District to the need for maintenance of the downtown <br /> bus stop but the situation has not improved and there has been no <br /> response <br /> , MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Barrett introduced the <br /> followtng resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Norris, its <br /> adoption <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 8005 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> REVOCABLE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT RELATING TO USE FOR BUS STOP <br /> PURPOSES OF CERTAIN CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY <br /> The resolution was adopted unanimously by roll call vote <br /> Compliments were made to Ron Dahlin, RSHA and Mobil for their con- <br /> tributions, and it was suggested the pro�ect should be brought to <br /> the attention of the Transit District <br /> Bicycle locker fee schedule <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of February 24, 1978 re- <br /> garding the sub,7ect fee schedule and attaching report from the <br /> Dtrector of Public Works dated February 22 <br /> In response to questions, Mr. Fales advised that there is consider- <br /> able vandalism associated with the coin operated lockers and, <br /> therefore, it is recommended that the coin operation be abandoned <br /> and keys rented on a six-month basis to those who wish to use the <br /> ' lockers. <br /> Su99estion was made that bicycle chops and others in business in <br /> the downtown area might find it profitable to install inside coin <br /> operated or rental lockers for bicycltsts <br /> MOTION Title havrng been read, Councilman Biagi introduced the <br /> followtng ordinance and moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, its <br /> approval for f�rst reading <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING ARTICLE III TO CHAPTER 8 OF THE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FEE <br /> SCHEDULE fOR THE UTILIZATION OF BICYCLE LOCKERS <br /> The ordinance was approved unanimously by roll call vote <br /> Purchase of utilit van for Com rehensive <br /> Education and Trainin Act Proqram CETA <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of February 24, 1978 re- <br /> garding the sub,7ect van and attaching report from the Director of <br /> finance dated February 23 <br /> MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Norris introduced the <br /> ' following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Vega, its <br /> adoption and that strict compliance with the requirements of <br /> Article �II, Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, <br /> Reg Mtg _5_ Reg Mtg <br /> 2/27/78 2/27/78 <br />
