Counc�lman Vega moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, to <br /> approve the Minutes of the City Council Meeting of March 20, 1978 <br /> as submitted. <br /> The mot�on carried unanimously by voice vote, Mayor Leipz�g <br /> abstaining. <br /> Report of Mayor Selection Committee <br /> Mayor Leipzig, Chairman of the Mayor Selection Committee, presented <br /> the Committee report dated March 24, 1978 with letter to the Com- <br /> mittee of March 16 from the City Attorney attached. Mayor Leipzig , <br /> commented on the considerations discussed by the Committee in reach- <br /> ing their recortenendation for a procedure for select�on of Mayor. <br /> MOTION Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by�Councilman Bury, to <br /> approve the report of the Mayor Selection Committee,dated March 24, <br /> 1978 and to accept the Coimm ttee recormnendation for a procedure <br /> for selection of Mayor as follows. <br /> 1.
