BLRY � CAhiMUJITY ACTIVITIES BUILDING <br /> 1400 ROOSEVELT AVENUE <br /> BOB NORRIS JULY 19, 1976 10�00 A.M. <br /> BILL RI-�DES <br /> FERNANDO VEGA ' <br /> BOARD OF EQUALIZATION <br /> The Counctl of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 10 00 a.m <br /> as the Board of Equalization of General Improvement District No 1-64 <br /> with Mayor Le�pzig presiding <br /> Roll Call <br /> Councilmen present Barrett, Biagi, Rhodes and Mayor Leipzig <br /> Councilmen absent Bury, Norris, Vega <br /> Officials and staff present City Manager Fales, City Attorney Schrtcker, <br /> Assistant City Controller-Assessor Clarke, City Clerk Hildebrand <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Mayor Leipz�g declared open at 10.01 a m the public hearing on the <br /> Assessment Roll for GID No 1-64 for 1976-77. <br /> City Clerk Hildebrand reported the Affidavit of Publication of Notice ' <br /> of Hearing is on file in her office and no written verified applica- <br /> tions for reduction of assessment of property or other written com- <br /> munication have been received <br /> City Manager Fales called attention to his report of July 15, 1976 <br /> on the sub�ect hearing and attaching report from the District Assessor <br /> regarding a correction on the Assessment Roll, observing that a <br /> clertcal error had been made <br /> Mr Fales advised that Leslie Properties Inc and Mobil Oil Estates <br /> (Redwood) Limited have been notified orally and in writing of the <br /> correction <br /> Brief discussion followed and Robert Stringer, appraiser from Marshall <br /> , and Stevens, replied to questions concerning assessment practtces <br /> { <br /> ; It was requested that copies of the City's Assessment Manual be sent <br /> � to Councilmen 6iagi, Bury and Vega.
