AUGIiST 2. 1976 Regular Meeting The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 7:32 p.m. with Mayor Leipzig presiding The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Vega, The Invocation was led by the Reverend Ralph Daniel,�First Baptist ' Church. Roll Call Councilmen present: Barrett, Biagi, Bury, Norrts, Rhodes, Vega and Mayor Letpzig Councilmen absent. None Officials and staff present Assistant City Manager Smith, City ' Attorney Schricker, City Controller Ference, City Clerk Hildebrand and Public Works Director Pusich, Parks and Recreation Director Weeks, Building and Transportation Director Balsamo, Police Chief Bold Approval of Minutes MOTION Councilman Bury moved, seconded by Councilman Btagi, that the Minutes of the Joint Meeting wtth the Port Cortonission on July 22, 1976, the Joint Meeting with the Park and Recreation Commission and the City Council Meeting on July 26, 1976 be approved as submitted. Councilman Norris advised that he would abstain from voting on the approval of the Minutes of the two ,7oint meetings since he was not present The motion carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilman Norris ab- staining on approval of the Minutes of the �oint meetings. Public Hearing - Proposed Abandonment of Portion of Htlton Street Mayor Leipzig declared open at 7 37 p.m. the sub�ect public hearing. � City Clerk Hildebrand reported that the Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing and the Affidavit of Posting are on file in her office Reg.Mtg. 8/2/76
