2'?'3r <br /> Written Commum cations (continued) <br /> __ MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Williams, that the_City of Redwood City participate in the <br /> meetinqs of the Mid-Peninsula Cities Study Group and undertake <br /> the financial obligation of less than $100 over an 18-month <br /> ' period. <br /> Discussion followed concerntng the desirability of establishing <br /> a study group in the southern part of the County and ail <br /> Council members were urged to attend the meetings. � <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. � <br /> (MINUTE ORDER N0. 76-33) <br /> 2, Letter of resignation from Gray A Wilson, member of the Park <br /> and Recreation Commission, effective June 1, 1976 <br /> MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Williams, to accept with sincere regret the resignation of - <br /> Gray A. Wilson from the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO 76-34) <br /> 3. Letter from Redwood City Police Officers Association <br /> Mayor Weymouth advised that the sub�ect letter has been with- <br /> drawn by the Association <br /> ' Oral Cortununications <br /> 1 Juan Hernandez, 2483 Middlefield Road, recommended that <br /> additional street lighting and police protection be provided , <br /> for his neighborhood and cited certain recent experiences as <br /> reasons for his concern. Mr Hernandez also suggested there <br /> is a lack of stop signs in his neighborhood on streets leading <br /> �into'Middlefield Road. <br /> Assistant City Manager Smith advised he will investigate <br /> the situation and report back (memo 2/3/76) <br /> Ad�ournment <br /> MOTION.
