��� M I N U T E S <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWDOD CITY <br /> BDARD OF SUPERVISORS CHAMBERS <br /> 401 MARSHALL STREET <br /> , MARCH 8, 1976 <br /> R'��rular Meetinq , <br /> The Council of the City of R�dwood City met on this date at 7•30 p m <br /> with P1ayor bleymouth presiding <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was led by�Councilman Norris <br /> The Invocation was led by Michael Dismoore of The Salvation Army <br /> Roll Call <br /> Councilmen present• Barrett, Henderson, Leipzig, Norris, Rhodes, <br /> Williams and Mayor Weymouth <br /> Councilmen absent None <br /> Government Affairs Student present� Dremann <br /> Officials and staff present� City Manager Fales,City Attorney � <br /> Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, Planninq Director Schroeter, <br /> Parks and Recreation Director Weeks, Director of Buildings and <br /> Transportation Balsamo, Police Chief Bold <br /> Aporoval of Minutes - March 1, 1976 <br /> MOTION Counci1man Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Henderson, ' <br /> to approve the City Council minutes of March 1, 1976 as submitted <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br /> Planning Commission Report re Port <br /> Land Use and Economic Study <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of March 4, 1976 regard- <br /> ing the Soecial Area Plan for the Port of Redwood City and Sur- <br /> rounding Lands and attachinq the Planning Commission report on the <br /> sub,7ect Mr Fales advised that a report regarding the oossible <br /> transfer of the Marina to the Port will be transmitted to Counci1 <br /> by April 12 for review by Council, the Port Commission and the <br /> Park and Recreation Commission <br /> Discussion followed and Mr. Fales and City Attorney Schricker com- <br /> mented and replied to questions regarding the kind ofi environmental <br /> imoact report which might be necessary, the possibility of the <br /> State contributing to a feasibility study with regard to the on/off <br /> ramps at Harbor Boulevard and Woodside Road in relation to the <br /> Dumbarton Bridge construction; the fact that only the Council can <br /> make the transfer of the Marind to the Port; and whether any pre,7- <br /> udice with regard to the transfer would be established if Council <br /> concurs with the Planning Commission report tonight , <br /> Mr Fales stated for the record that no decision made tonight with <br /> regard to the Planning Commission report before Council would pre�� <br /> udice any later vote with regard to management of the Port property. <br /> Mr Fales stated further that completion of the required EIR and <br /> Reg Mtg <br /> 3/8/76 <br />
