3 03 Robert Field, 730 Distel Drive, Los Altos, Pro�ect Manager for Parkwood 101 stated that the proposed zoning is necessary in order that an office park might be developed and described the benefits to the City and to the area which might be anticipated by such ' development. Mr Field stated that his client is well aware of the financial obligations relating to connection charges for facilities. In response to question, Mr. Fields advised that additional work is necessary with federal and state agenc�es, but that it is hoped the office park pro,7ect can be commenced in the fall of this year and that interest has been indicated in the prospective development Ron MacQuarrie, 558 Keelson Circle, stated that he is looking forward to the Parkwood 101 development and su9gested that the amount of the connection fees be made known to the present property owners as well as to any future property owners tn order to avo�d any difficulty regarding payment. Mr MacQuarrie also suggested an alternate means of handling water runoff with regard to the street drainage system might alleviate that problem. City Manager Fales stated for the record that Parkwood 101 is well aware of the financial obligation which will be required for connections and that everyone involved is fully informed regarding that obligation Mayor Weymouth invited anyone else present who wished to speak to do so. No one else wished to speak MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman , Williams, to close the public hearing. e The motion carried unanimously by'voice vote. The public hearing was closed at 7 55 p.m. MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Barrett introduced the follo;ving ordinance and moved, seconded by Councilman Leipzig, its approval for first readi�g ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 60 20.3 TO ORDINANCE NO 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REZONING PROPERTY IN THE VICINITY OF MARINE WORLD PARKWAY AND BELMONT SLOUGH The ordinance was approved unanimously by voice vote Park and Recreation Commission recommendation re Master Site Plan for polphin 1, 2, 3 and Marlin 2 City Manager Fales referred to his report of March 18, 1976 regarding the sub�ect park site plans and observed that the site plans have been displayed in the Council study for review by Council Members � Discussion followed and Mr Fales and Parks and Recreation Director Weeks commented and replied to questions concerning the fact that the estimated cost of the park development is greater than the amount available in GID No 1-64 funds designated -2- Reg.Mtg. 3/22/76
