3 03 <br /> Robert Field, 730 Distel Drive, Los Altos, Pro�ect Manager for <br /> Parkwood 101 stated that the proposed zoning is necessary in order <br /> that an office park might be developed and described the benefits <br /> to the City and to the area which might be anticipated by such <br /> ' development. Mr Field stated that his client is well aware of <br /> the financial obligations relating to connection charges for <br /> facilities. In response to question, Mr. Fields advised that <br /> additional work is necessary with federal and state agenc�es, <br /> but that it is hoped the office park pro,7ect can be commenced <br /> in the fall of this year and that interest has been indicated <br /> in the prospective development <br /> Ron MacQuarrie, 558 Keelson Circle, stated that he is looking <br /> forward to the Parkwood 101 development and su9gested that the <br /> amount of the connection fees be made known to the present <br /> property owners as well as to any future property owners tn <br /> order to avo�d any difficulty regarding payment. Mr MacQuarrie <br /> also suggested an alternate means of handling water runoff with <br /> regard to the street drainage system might alleviate that problem. <br /> City Manager Fales stated for the record that Parkwood 101 is <br /> well aware of the financial obligation which will be required <br /> for connections and that everyone involved is fully informed <br /> regarding that obligation <br /> Mayor Weymouth invited anyone else present who wished to speak <br /> to do so. No one else wished to speak <br /> MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> , Williams, to close the public hearing. e <br /> The motion carried unanimously by'voice vote. <br /> The public hearing was closed at 7 55 p.m. <br /> MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Barrett introduced <br /> the follo;ving ordinance and moved, seconded by Councilman Leipzig, <br /> its approval for first readi�g <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 60 20.3 TO ORDINANCE NO 1130, <br /> THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REZONING PROPERTY IN <br /> THE VICINITY OF MARINE WORLD PARKWAY AND BELMONT SLOUGH <br /> The ordinance was approved unanimously by voice vote <br /> Park and Recreation Commission recommendation <br /> re Master Site Plan for polphin 1, 2, 3 and Marlin 2 <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of March 18, 1976 <br /> regarding the sub�ect park site plans and observed that the <br /> site plans have been displayed in the Council study for review <br /> by Council Members <br /> � Discussion followed and Mr Fales and Parks and Recreation <br /> Director Weeks commented and replied to questions concerning the <br /> fact that the estimated cost of the park development is greater <br /> than the amount available in GID No 1-64 funds designated <br /> -2- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 3/22/76 <br />
