ORDINANCE REPEALING DIVISION 1 Of ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 25 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF RCDWOOD CITY IIND ADDING DIVISION 1 TO ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 25 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS The ordinance was approved on the following roll call vote , � A,yes Councilmen Barrett, Leipzig, Rhodes, Wtlliams and Mayor Weymouth { ; Noes• Councilmen Henderson, Norris (The Counctl recessed from 9 50 to 9 55 p.m ) � � � Fair Oaks Community Center Ad'visory Board � recommendation re interim appointment to �' � y unexpired term of business representative on the Bo�ird MOTION Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Williams, to approve the recortunendation of the fair Oaks Conanunity Center Advisory Board and appoint Philip Jones as business representative on the Board to an unexpired term commencing immediately. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote , (MINUTE ORDER NO 76-5) Mr Jones was commended for his willingness to serve the com- munity on the Fair Oaks Board Mayor Weymouth also commended Don Hager who has resigned as ' o business representative on the Fair Oaks Board because he is — � moving out of the community and advised that Mr Hager wtll be �} recognized for his service by Council at a later date to be announced � Senior Information and Referral Service - �' � 1976 proposed funding grant City Manager Fales referred to his report of December 31, 1975 attaching report from the Director of Parks and Recreation of , � December 23 regarding the proposed grant. � MOTION Title having been read, Councilman Williams introduced � the following resolution and moved, seconded by Councilman Leipzi9, r its adoption RESOLUTION NO 7531 AUTHORIZING TNE CITY MANAGER TO FILE AN A PLICATION FOR PROJECT GRANT UNDER TITLE III OF THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT Discussion followed and Mr Weeks replied to questions and com- mented concerning use of the Service; the number of persons who use the Service who reside in the County or in Woodstde and the ' possibility of contributions from those agencies, the desirability of accumulating statistics on use of the Service, and the fact ! that the period for the sub,7ect grant is only s�x months. 7- � Reg.Mtg. 1/5/76 , `� ^ �' . .
