<br /> consideration of Redt�ood City's granting a ri�ht of way to Hetch Hetchy,

<br /> Attorney McCarthy stated tha.t it r,-as difficult to determine whether '
<br /> Redwood City had an absolute right to the �vater, out ielt the city could
<br /> �. insist tnat it be sold at a rate that is reasonable as long as there is a
<br /> surplus of Hetch Hetchy water over San Fra.ncisco's needs.

<br /> from Councilman Britschgi and Armstrong, he sta.ted that the perma,nent
<br /> ' solution v;ould 'ee to pave 1M1'estgate and Stanley Streets, put in curbs,
<br /> gutters and sidewalks, including tne drainage systern. Tnis would cost�
<br /> the.property ovrner between �7.00 and �°.00 a front ioot. It r�ould carry
<br /> the wa�er dovrn to the catch oasin on Brewster, and would cost about
