O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14 3 c) 6 <br />10/8/01 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING SALARY SCHEDULE AND <br />COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE POSITION OF CITY CLERK <br />WHEREAS, on or about October 8, 2001, the City Council of the City of <br />Redwood City increased the City Clerk's base salary by 24.6% effective <br />retroactive to the first full pay period on or about March 29, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City desires to adjust <br />the City Clerk's base salary by 2% which amount will be contributed to a deferred <br />compensation program offered by the City; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The compensation for the position of City Clerk is hereby amended <br />retroactively by revising the salary schedule as set forth in Exhibit "B" <br />(commencing from and after November 1, 2001) which Exhibit is attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br />2. In addition to the provisions of Paragraph 1, the terms and <br />conditions of employment for the position of City Clerk shall include those <br />provisions established for positions included in the Executive Management <br />Classifications set forth in that certain document entitled, "City of Redwood City — <br />Executive Management - Summary of Benefits — Effective May 1, 2000," a copy <br />of which is on file in the office of the Director of Human Resources. <br />F:Atty2001 Shared /Redwood /Council /Reso /Reso-1257 1 <br />
