HILTON ' Mayor of the City of Redwood City Oity Attorney McCarthy advised he nad talked with V9illiam R, Staates in regard to tne bond market and wa.s advised bq one of their representatives, a Mr. Hodge, that the bond market is in a more favorable oonditiott now than 1 ever before, He recommended that it would be advise,ble to give coneid- eration to selling the ffrst block of bonds now and 3f the money was not needed immediately to invest it in gonernment bonds. Mr, Hodge had pre- sented a diagram of tne bond market showing tne rate of intereat. Ooun- cilman Armsirong moved, seconded by Councilman Anderson, that a copy of tne diagram be furnished to the Council and the matter placed on the • I
