Armstrong, Carl A. � Britschgi, Floyd ll. Granger, George M. Mc?dulty, Vfillian PF. C�erder, Arthur V. Swift, Mayor 1'7, l�. Hilton, and City Cleik R. S. Dodge. Also present were: • City h�anager E. i�'. Blom, Police Chief C. L. Coliins, Street Superintendent H. L. VJinter and City Engineer pon S. Wilson. n4ayor Hilton explained that the purpose of this meeting was to consider accepting ' the prelirninary budget for the fiscal year 1946-47. City Manager Blom pre- sented the preliminary budget to the Council and explained tnat the Council had studied it in caucus sessione. Councilaran Armstrong �noved, seconded by Councilman ?`derder, acceptance of the preli;ninary budget for the fiscal year ' 1946-1547 and expresaed the appreciation of the Council for the businesa- like and co�cise manner in which the City b4anager conveyed it. �fotion passed unanimously. Communication vaas received from City }�anager Blom in regard to application by ' Pete Johns on behalf of his sister Laura Davis to operate a palmist business on Hroadvray near El Camino Real.
