Councilman Granger,noved, seconded by <br /> ' Councilman Swift, that trie necessary steps be taken to institute condemnation <br /> proceedinge on this property. Motion passed unanimounsly. <br /> City Mana�er Blom advised tha.t tne Flant Ruober and Asbestos Cornpany is planning <br /> to make an addition to their plant which will make it necessary for the city <br /> to find a nevf access road to the city dun?p or to find a neM city dump, inas- <br /> ' rnucri as the city is using a roadway over their property at the present time. <br /> Tnere is a tenta.tive plan to move the dump to Harbor Blvd, next to the ac- <br /> cess road that leads to the San �iateo County Pumping Sta.tion. Negotiations <br /> are underv�ay to see if the Leslie Balt Company mould perrnit the city to use <br /> that area as a di;mping place. The Sonthern Pacific Company ha,s also been <br /> •. contacted to see if they ha.ve any objections to the site. He asked for <br /> � � <br />
