<br /> BROADVYAY MAP N0. 1
<br /> ' RESOLVED, by the Council�of tne City of Redwood Gity, California, that
<br /> the public interest and convenience require,.and tnat it is tne intention
<br /> of said City Council to do and perform the following public improvemente,
<br /> to-w3t:
<br /> 1, That tne unused public alley extending from Maple Street to Beech
<br /> Street in Block 3, and ihat certain unused alley located east of Seech
<br /> Street and north of Broadway, all ae ehown on Map No. 1 of Hroadway, filed
<br /> in Volwne 22 of Maps at Page 18; Ban Mateo County Records, be closed and
<br /> abandoned. �
<br /> 1 2, That in the opinion of eaid Council'no assesement is necessary
<br /> for this proceeding,
<br /> 3, These proceedings have taken pursuant to Division 5 of the 8treets
<br /> and Highwaye Code, as amencled,
<br /> 4, That the City 9uperintendent of Streets shall cause to be conspic-
<br /> uously posted along the line of eaid alleys and not more than 300 feet in
<br /> dietance apart, but not lese than three in all, notice of passa,ge of thie
<br /> Resolution headed "Notice of Public Works" in letters not less than one
<br /> � inch in len$th and in words and figures, a copy of which is hereto attacned
<br /> and by reference made a part hereof,.
<br /> 5. T'hat said 9treet Superintendent ehall also cause said Notice to
<br /> be published in ten successive iesues of the Redrrood City •T.ribune, a daily
<br /> newspaper published and circulated in said City.
<br /> 6, within ten days after the expiration of the time of publication
<br /> and posting of said Notice, any pereon interested may file vuith the City
<br /> Clerk written objections to the closing.of said alley, or.any part thereof,
<br /> or to the waiving of assessments therefor. -
<br /> 7. That the City Clerk shall endorae on each such objection the date
<br /> it ie filed witn him and at the next meeting, after tne expiration of
<br /> ' said ten day period, snall place the objectione before this Council, at
<br /> vuhich time said Council ahall fix a time, which shall be not less than
<br /> one week thereafter, for the hearing of said objections,
<br /> 8. That the City Clerk shall thereupon notify the persone making
<br /> such objections, by depositing a notice thereof. in the Post Office of the
<br /> City, postage prepaid, addressed to each objector, of the time epecified,
<br /> or to which the meeting may be adjourned, and the Council snall hear and
<br /> pass upon the objections filed and its decision shall be final and con-
<br /> clueive.
<br /> I nereby certify tha.t the foregoing is a correct copy of a Resolution •
<br /> adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redwood
