Project No. 2" (Fourth Amendment Sub-Area) and directed that the <br /> Preliminary Plan be submitted to the Agency; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has submitted the Preliminary <br /> Plan to this Agency for approval; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Agency has reviewed and desires to accept and <br /> approve said Preliminary Plan and to direct that a redevelopment plan <br /> amendment be prepared for the Fourth Amendment Sub-Area. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The Preliminary Plan for the Fourth Amendment Sub- <br /> Area, as fo£mulated and approved by the Planning Commission of the City of <br /> Redwood City, and as attached hereto, is hereby received by the Agency <br /> (Attachment "A"), and the Agency hereby directs that an amendment to the <br /> Redevelopment Plan be prepared and that environmental review procedures, <br /> as required by the California Environmental Quality Act, be followed in <br /> connection with preparation and adoption of the amendment. <br /> Section 2. The 1996-97 assessment roll is the base year assessment roll <br /> the Agency proposes to use for the allocation of taxes from the Fourth <br /> Amendment Sub-Area pursuant to Section 33670 and 33670.5 of the <br /> Community Redevelopment Law ("CRL'). In the event that the Agency does <br /> not achieve the 1996-97 base year assessment roll, then the agency shall use the <br /> 1997-98 assessment roll as the base year assessment roll. <br /> Section3. The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby <br /> authorized and directed to file the information required by Section 33327 of <br /> the CRL with the appropriate taxing agency governing bodies, taxing officials, <br /> and the State Board of Equalization. <br /> 2 <br />-- AK/DES: 5/1/97 <br /> RDA Reso Accepting Prelination Plan. v.3 <br /> <br /> <br />
