RD-98-14 RD 98-14 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR THE <br /> CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE <br /> REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF AND <br /> AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE DEED OF CONVEYANCE <br /> THERETO <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City (the <br /> "Agency") intends to acquire certain real property located at the corner of <br /> Broadway Avenue and Jefferson Street (the "Broadway Avenue Property"), <br /> Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redwood City Elementary School District (the "District") is <br /> the owner of the Broadway Avenue Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the District is not willing to sell the Broadway Avenue <br /> Property to the Agency or to any third party; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the District is willing to exchange the Broadway Avenue <br /> Property for the real property located on Bradford Street (the "Bradford Street <br /> Property") which is owned by the City of Redwood City ("City"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to consummate the exchange of properties with the <br /> District, it is necessary for the Agency to acquire fee title to the Bradford Street <br /> Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, them has been presented to and reviewed by the Board of <br /> the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City an agreement for the <br /> <br /> F:~shared\Redwoo~Council\ 1 <br /> Reso-491 <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 08/26/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
