10 /s /o1 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO 14391 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD <br />SHORES BUS SHELTER INSTALLATION PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 14300, adopted August 13, 2001 <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Redwood Shores Bus Shelter <br />Installation Project, Redwood City, California; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, Bellalaney Construction of Martinez, California is the lowest <br />responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br />bid to Bellalaney Construction; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Bellalaney Construction in the amount of Thirty -nine <br />Thousand Three Hundred Forty Six and No /100 Dollars ($39,346.00), computed <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated September 12, 2001 for the <br />Redwood Shores Bus Shelter Installation Project, is hereby accepted and said <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br />work. <br />2. That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement" by and between the City <br />of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California and <br />F:Ahv2001 �herod /Fc®dwood /Council /Reso /RPsc 1V4- .t <br />
