11/05/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION N014403 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING CITY OF REDWOOD CITY EXECUTIVE <br />MANAGEMENT SUMMARY OF BENEFITS EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2000 <br />WHEREAS, with the recently concluded negotiations with the Redwood City <br />Management Employees Association - the city's mid - management group - several <br />benefit enhancements were granted; and <br />WHEREAS, with said benefit enhancements, an inequity has been created in <br />benefit levels as and between mid - management and Executive Management; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed a staff report dated <br />November 5, 2001, which describes and recommends benefit enhancements for <br />Executive Management; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires said benefit enhancements be afforded to <br />Executive Management in order to avoid any inequity in benefits with mid- management. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain document entitled "City of Redwood City — Executive <br />Management Summary of Benefits, effective May 1, 2000," marked Exhibit <br />"A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, setting forth <br />terms and conditions of employment pertaining to the positions included in <br />the aforementioned Executive Management classifications, is amended as set <br />forth in the staff report of November 5, 2001, and is hereby approved and <br />adopted. <br />2.
