The contributions are mandatory. <br /> Employees may not receive the contributed amounts directly instead of having them <br /> paid by the City of Redwood City to the Public Employees' Retirement System. <br /> ALTERNATIVES <br /> Pursue other alternatives as directed by the City Council. <br />
