<br /> hereinafter referred to as Board, and the go�erning body of the aba�e public agency,
<br /> h�reinafter referred to as Public Agency, having enter�� into a contract effective July 1,
<br /> 1941, and witnessed .�uly 11, 1941 � and as amende� effective July 1, 1954, August 1,
<br /> 1959, January 1, 1967, April 1, 19fi9 July 1, 1971, Sep#ember 1, 1971, September 28,
<br /> 9973, December 1, 19?5, Novem6er 1, 1976, July 'i, 1979, February 1, �980, March 13,
<br /> � 989, August 23, � 990, February 13, 1992, January 14, 1993, June 22, 1998, Oc#ober
<br /> 14, i999, November 21, 2001, May 6, 2002, Jvly 44, 2Q43, June 28, 2004, July 10,
<br /> 2Q06, January 22, 2007 and July S, 2�07 which provides for participation of Public
<br /> Agency in said System, Board and Public Agency hereby agree as follows:
<br /> A. Paragraphs 1 through 13 are hereby stricken from saEd contract as execu#ed
<br /> effective July 8, 2007, and hereby replaced by the fallowing paragraphs
<br /> numbered 1 through 1fi inclusi�e:
<br /> i. All words and tenns used herein which are defined in the Public
<br /> Employees' Retirement Law shall have the meaning as defined therein
<br /> unless otherwise specifcally provided. "Normal retirement age" shall
<br /> mean age 55 for local miscellaneous members entering membership in
<br /> the miscellaneous classificatian on or prior to the effec#ive da#e of this
<br /> amendment to contract, age fi0 for local miscellaneous members entering
<br /> membership for tfie first time in the miscellaneous classification after the
<br /> effective date of this amendmen# to contract, age 50 for local safety
<br /> members entering membership in the safety dassification on or prior to
<br /> tF�e effective date of this amendment to contract and age 55 for iocal
<br /> safety members entering membership for the frst time in the safety
<br /> classification after the effective date of this amendment to caRtract.
