Employees of Public Agency in the following classes shall become <br /> members of said Retirement System exc�pt such in each such class as <br /> are exciuded by law or this agreernent: <br /> a. Local Fire Fighters (herein referred ta as local safety members); <br /> b. Local Police Officers (herein referred #o as local safety members); <br /> c. Employees other than lacal safety members (herein referred to as <br /> local miscellaneous members). <br /> 5. In addition to the classes af employees excluded from membership by <br /> said Retirement Law, the following classes of employees shakl not become <br /> members of said Retirement System: <br /> NO ADDITIONAL EXCLUS1aN3 <br /> 6. The percentage of final compensation tn be pro�ided for each year of <br /> credited prior and current service as a local miscellaneous mernber in <br /> employment before and not on or after July 10, 20Ufi shall be determined <br /> in accordance with Section 21354 of said Ret�rement Law (2% at age 55 <br /> Full). <br /> 7. The percentage of fnal compensation to be provided far each year af <br /> credited prior and current service as a local miscellaneous member in <br /> employment on or after July 10, 2Q06 and not entering membership for the <br /> first time in the miscellaneous class�cation after the effec#ive date of this <br /> amendment to contract shall be detemnined in accordance with Section <br /> 21354.5 of said Retirement Law (2.7% at age 55 Full). <br /> 8. The perce�tage of finat compensation to be pro�ided for each year of <br /> credited current service as a local miscellaneous member entering <br /> membership for the first time in the miscellaneous classification afler the <br /> effective date of this amendment to contract shall be determined in <br /> accordance with Section 21353 of said Retirement Law (2% at age fi0 <br /> Full). <br /> 9.
