Section 21353 (2% a� <br /> 6U ��II formula) and Section 20037 (Three-Year Final <br /> Compensation) are applicable to local miscellaneous members <br /> entering membership for the first time in the miscellaneous <br /> classi#ication after the effective da#e of this amendment to contrac#. <br /> Section 213fi3.1 (3% aQ 55 Ful! formula) a�d Section 20�37 (Three- <br /> Year Final Compensation) are applicable to locai safety members <br /> entering membership for the first time in the safety classi�ca#ion <br /> after the effective date af this amendment to contract. <br /> 12. Public Agency, in accordance with Government Code Sec#ion 20790, <br /> ceased to be an "employer" for purposes of Section 20$34 effecti�e on <br /> �ebruary 9, 1980. AccumulaEed contrib�tions of Public Agency shall be <br /> fixed and determined as provided in Govemment Code Section 20834, <br /> and accumulated contributions thereafter sfiall be held by the Board as <br /> provided in Govemment Code Section 20834. <br /> 13. Public Agency shall contribute to said Retirement System the contributions <br /> determined by act�arial val�ations of prior and future service lia�ility with <br /> respect to local miscellaneous members and local safety members of said <br /> Retirement System. <br /> 14. Public Age�cy shall also contribute to said Retirement System as follows: <br /> a. Contributions required per covered member on accoun# of the 1959 <br /> Survivor Benefits pro�ided under Section 21573 of said Retirement <br /> Law. (Subject to annua! change.) In addition, al1 assets and <br /> liabilities of Public Agency and fts employees shall be pooled in a <br /> single account, based on term insurance rates, for survivors of all <br /> local miscellaneous members. <br /> b. Contributions required per co�ered member o� account of the 1959 <br /> Survivor Bene�ts provided under Section 21574 af saicl Retirement <br /> Law. (Subject to annual change.} In addition, all assets and <br /> liabilities of Public Agency and its employees shall be pooled in a <br /> single account, based on term i�surance rates, for survivors of all <br /> local safety members. <br /> c.
