B. - Page 7 <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> TASK 1— TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR <br /> 1- All labor, tools, equipment, materials necessary to properly maintain the <br /> Traffic Signals owned by the City. <br /> 2- Preventative Maintenance (PM): The Contractor will provide pricing for Option <br /> A and Option B in Chapter 6(Proposal Cost) of their submitted Proposal. <br /> Option A is made up of a Monthly PM, Semi-Annual PM, and Annual PM. <br /> Each month, the Contractor will perform the Monthly PM. Twice a year the <br /> Contractor will perForm the Semi-Annual PM which includes the Monthly PM. <br /> Once a year, the Contractor will perform the Annual PM which includes the <br /> Semi-Annual PM, and Monthly PM. <br /> Option B is made up of a Quarterly PM, Semi-Annual PM, and Annual PM. <br /> Each quarter, the Contractor will perform the Quarterly PM. Twice a year the <br /> Contractor will perform the Semi-Annual PM which includes the Quarterly PM. <br /> Once a year, the Contractor will perform the Annual PM which includes the <br /> Quarterly PM and Semi-Annual PM. <br /> Attachment F shows a Calendar of Expected Costs assuming Option A <br /> (Monthly PM). <br /> Attachment G shows a Calendar of Expected Costs assuming Option B <br /> (Quarterly PM). <br /> Monthlv or Quarterlv PM <br /> On a monthly or quarterly basis, Contractor will perform the following PM <br /> inspection and complete repairs as necessary. <br /> a. Inspect Signal Controller and Cabinet Contents for proper functioning to <br /> include: <br /> 1. Check general overall appearance of Controller Cabinet, Type 3 <br /> Service and Battery Back-Up Cabinets (vacuum if necessary). <br /> 2. Check presence of Signal Cabinet Wiring Schematics and Records. <br /> 3. Verify current Signal Controller Timing Logs. <br /> 4. Verify that Programmed Signal Controller Timing matches <br /> Intersection Timing Logs. <br /> 5. Verify that Signal Controller and Conflict Monitor function in relation <br /> to traffic. <br /> 6. Inspect Loop Detector Amplifiers (tune if necessary). <br /> 7. Inspect Video Detection Unit / Camera Alignment (if applicable). <br /> 8.
