One City One Vote. Each member cit�r has a right to cast one vote on matters pertaining to <br /> League policy. <br /> 2. Designating a City Voting Represenfafive, Prior to the Annual Canference, each city <br /> counciI may designate a voting delegate and up t� two alternates; these individuals are <br /> identified on the V oting Delegate Form provided ta the League Credentials Committee. <br /> 3. Registearin� w�th the Credentials Comm�t�ee. The votina delegate, or alternates, may <br /> pick up the city's votzng card at the Voting Delegate Desk in the canference re�istration <br /> area. Voting delegates and alteznates must sign in at the Voting Delegate �esk. Here they <br /> will receive a special sticker on their narrte badge and thus be admitted to the votin� az at <br /> the Busin�ss Meeting. <br /> 4. Signing �ni�ia#ed Resolution Petitions. Only tho�e individuals who are voting delegates <br /> (or alternates), and wha have picked up their city's voting card b�T providing a signature to <br /> the Credentials Committee at tkie Voting Deleaate Desk, may sign petitions to initia�e a <br /> resolution. <br /> 5. Vating. To cast the city's vote, a city of�icial must have in his or her passessiQn the city's <br /> votin� card and be registered with the Credentials Comm�ttee. The voting card may be <br /> transferred freely bet�veen the voting delegate and aIternates, but may not be transferred ta <br /> another city officzal wha is neither a votin� detegate or alternate. <br /> 6. Vating Area at Business Meeting. At tY�e B�asiness Meeting, individuals with a voting card <br /> wi�l sit in a designated area. Admission will be lirr�t�d to those individuals with a special <br /> sticker on their name badge identifying them as a voting delegate or altei <br /> 7. Resolvi�g Di�pr�tes. In case of dispute, the Credentials Committee will determine the <br /> validity of signatures oz� petitianed resolutions and ihe right of a city of#'icial to �ote at the <br /> Business �'VIeeting. <br />
