5/7/01 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1130-312 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 60.9.4 TO ORDINANCE NO. <br /> 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REZONING <br /> PROPERTY LOCATED AT 135-137 ROOSEVELT AVENUE IN <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FROM THE <br /> "CN" (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) TO THE "CG" <br /> (COMMERCIAL GENERAL) ZONING DISTRICTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 6, 2001, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Redwood City recommended to this City Council, the rezoning of the hereinafter <br />described property from the "CN" (Neighborhood Commercial) to the "CG" <br />(Commercial General) Zoning District classifications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, having reviewed the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public <br />hearing duly noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the <br />proposed rezoning is in the public interest, consistent with the general plan of the <br />City of Redwood city, and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood City <br /> <br />Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1130, as amended). <br /> NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. Section 60.9.4 is hereby added to Ordinance 1130, the <br />Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, as amended, to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 60.1.16.
