o. Electronic equipment facilities." <br /> <br /> Section 49. Section 18.8 is hereby amended to read as follows <br /> <br /> "Section 18.8 Lot Coverage. Not more than 50 percent of the lot <br /> area shall be covered by buildings and permanently installed equipment." <br /> <br /> Section 50. Section 18.11 is hereby amended to read as follows <br /> <br /> "Section 18.11 Disposal Facilities. Trash and refuse collection <br /> and disposal facilities and recycling facilities shall be enclosed by a solid <br /> fence or hedge no lower in height than the facilities themselves." <br /> <br /> Section 51. Section 18.17 is hereby added and shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 18.17 Floor Area Ratio. The maximum floor area ratio is 40 <br /> percent, except that for uses permitted under Sections 25.5 a, b, and c in <br /> Combining District IP-V, the maximum FAR is 70 percent." <br /> <br /> Section 52. Section 18.18 is hereby added and shall read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 18.18 Grandfathered Facilities. Article 33 <br /> notwithstanding, a noncomplying facility existing on April 1, 2001 and <br /> which, when built, was a complying facility, may remain as a <br /> grandfathered facility and shall not be subject to the provisions of Article <br /> 33. Such a facility shall be permitted to be remodeled, improved or <br /> replaced; provided, that such remodeling, improvement or replacement <br /> shall not result in increased floor area, nor shall such remodeling <br /> improvement or replacement result in shifting of building footprint or <br /> increased height, length, building envelope, or any other increase in the <br /> size of the facility, or any increase in the existing degree of <br /> noncompliance. Remodeling, improvement, or replacement of medical, <br /> professional, general business, or administrative office uses of a size <br /> exceeding 10,000 square feet in the IP district that are deemed <br /> grandfathered pursuant to this section 18.18, shall not result in increased <br /> floor area devoted to such office uses.
