· 6/7/99 ORIGINAL ORDINANCE NO. 1130-300 ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 60.20d.1 TO ORDINANCE NO. 1130, THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY ADJACENT TO SAN FRANCISCO BAY FROM TIDAL PLAIN DISTRICT TO REDWOOD SHORES BAYFRONT DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION Whereas, on March 16, 1999, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City recommended for City Council approval, the establishment of the Redwood Shores Bayfront District ("RSB") Zoning District classification; and Whereas, the Planning Commission recommended for City Council approval rezoning the hereinafter described property from Tidal Plain District to Redwood Shores Bayfront District zoning classifications; and Whereas, this Council, having reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission and having considered the evidence received at the public hearing duly noticed and held for said proposed rezoning, finds that the proposed rezoning is in the public interest and consistent with the purposes of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, as amended; NOW THEREFORE: THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 60.20d.1 is hereby added to Ordinance 1130, the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11, 1964, as amended, as follows: "Section 60.20d.1. Pursuant to the provisions of Article 41 of the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1130, as amended), the real property generally lying adjacent to Steinberger Slough and Seal Creek in the City of Redwood City, and consisting of approximately 67.3 acres, is hereby rezoned from the "TP" (Tidal Plain) Zoning District classification to the RSB Redwood Shores Bayfront Zoning District classification as shown on the zoning map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A," and incorporated by this reference."
