MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />October 9, 1995 <br /> <br /> MO. 95-200 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: October 10, 1995 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Council <br /> Planning Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Appeal - 899 Broadway (Gold's Gym) (603) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on October 9, 1995 <br /> <br />Present: Councilmembers Buchan, Hartnett, Howard, La Berge, Sanfilipo, Steinfeld <br /> and Mayor Gasparini <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S: LA BERGE/STEINFELD TO UPHOLD THE APPEAL. <br /> <br /> Councilwoman La Berge stated that the businesses in the subject industrial <br /> area deserve to be given the best opportunity to succeed, and deliveries were <br /> critical to their survival. Councilwoman La Berge said that the City cannot put <br /> up barriers in the way of productive, existing businesses. <br /> <br /> <br />
