Mayor Gasparini stated that she agreed with both Councilwoman Howard and <br /> La Berge. There were good ideas on both sides, but this Council was the most <br /> pro-business of any she had seen, and either way the Council votes, it is <br /> supporting business - one supporting existing businesses and the other <br /> supporting economic growth. Mayor Gasparini stated she agreed with Vice <br /> Mayor Harmer that the way it looks now is empty, blighted with weeds, etc. <br /> However, what is the overall best use of the area and the health and safety of <br /> that area, and stated she agreed with the existing businesses. Mayor Gasparini <br /> advised that she is also committed to making sure Gold's Gym can find a place <br /> in Redwood City.
