<br /> PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF MODULAR SYSTEMS OFFICE
<br /> FURNITURE AND STORAGE FOR REDWOOD CITY FIRE STATION NO. 8
<br /> THE CONDITION OF THE FOREGOING OBLIGATION IS SUCH that, whereas the
<br /> above with the City of Redwood City ("Cityy") to do the following work, to-wit:
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, if the abovo-bounden Principal or his subcontractors fail to pay any
<br /> of the persons named in Section 3181 of the Civil Code of the State of Califomia, or
<br /> amounts due under the Unemployment Insurence Code with respect to work or labor
<br /> perfortned under the CoMract, or for any amounts required to be deducted, withheld,
<br /> and paid over to the Employment Devebpment Departrnent irom the wages of
<br /> employees of the Contractor and his subcontractor pursuant to Section 13020 of the
<br /> Unemployment Insurance Code of the State of Califomia, with resped to such work and
<br /> labor, the surety wili pay for the same, in the amouM not exceeding the sum "speafied in
<br /> this bond, and also, in case suit is brought upon this bond, a reasonable attomey's fee,
<br /> to be fuced by the Court.
<br /> This`tiond shall inure to the ben�t of any person named=in Sec:tion 3181 of the Civil -
<br /> Code of the State of Cal'rfomia so as to give a right of adion to them or their assignees in
<br /> suit brought upon this bond.
<br /> This bond is executed and filed to comply with the provisions of the ad of the Legislature
<br /> . of the State of Califomia as designated in Civil Code Sections 3247-3252, indusive, and
<br /> all amendmerds thereto.
<br /> And the said Surety, for value received, hereby stipulates and agrees to waive the
<br /> provisions of Califomia Civil Code Section 2819 regarding consent to change, extensfon
<br /> of time alteration, or add'Rion to the terms of the Coritract, or to the worlc to be performed
<br /> thereunder, or the Specifiqtions accompanying the same, shall in any way affect its
<br /> obligations on this bond; and it does hereby waive notice of any such change, extension
<br /> of Hme, aReration, or addition to the tertns of the CoMract, or to the work, or to the
<br /> Specifications.
