(Tony Painting) TH REEME T is made and entered into as of the � day of . , 2011, by and between the Ciry of Redwood City, a charter city an m icipal corporation �of the State of California ("City"), and Tony Painting ("Contractor"). — RECiTALS A. City requires Contractor's services. B. Contractor has the necessary experience in providing professional services and advice. C. Selection of Contractor is expected to achieve the desired results in an expedited fashion, D. Contractor has submitted a proposal to City and has affirmed its willingness and ability to perform such work. NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: 1. Scope of Work and Time for Performance. Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed, shall provide and furnish all of the labor, equipment, materials, and tools to perform, within thirty (30) calendar days after the NOTICE TO PROCEED, the following work: EXTERIOR PAINTING FIRE STATIONS NO. 11 AND NO. 20 in strict accordance with the Plans, Contract Documents and Spec�cations pertaining thereto as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, signed by the Manager, Engineering and Construction of Redwood City, which Documents are incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement as if herein fully set forth. 2. Compensation. City shall pay to Contractor, as full consideration for the faithful perFormance by Contractor of the aforementioned work, the amount of Thirty eight thousand eight hundred fifty and 00/100 Dollars ($38,850.00) computed in ��- accordance with Contractor's accepted Proposal dated August 5, 2011 which accepted Proposal is incorporated herein by reference thereto as if herein fully set forth. 3. Standard of Performance. All of the work to be done shall be done to the approval of, City or its authorized representative, and the work shall be done in the best workmanlike manner, conforming strictly to the provisions of the (specifications and plans and/or proposal dated) made thereof. Work shall be done at times that are . agreed to by City.
