6.3.B. - Page 3 <br /> Attachment 1 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 40.4.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO HISTORIC RESOURCES <br /> ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br /> The City Council of the City of Redwood City does ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. The City Council finds as follows: <br /> As part of its initiative to reduce costs and increase organizational efficiencies, the City <br /> Council authorized a review of advisory boards, commissions, and committees and determined <br /> to make certain changes to staffing and appointments of these boards, commissions including <br /> the Historic Resources Committee. <br /> Section 2. The following sections and subsections of the Redwood City Municipal <br /> Code shown below are hereby amended by adding the text shown in bold italics (example) and <br /> deleting the text shown in strikeout (e�a�le). Text in brackets [example] is explanatory and is <br /> not part of the text. <br /> Section 3. Section 40.4.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> SECTION 40.4.1. HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE: <br /> The Commission shall appoint an Historic Resources Advisory Committee to advise and make <br /> recommendations to the Commission in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter. The <br /> Committee shall consist of °°"�—'� five (5) members, e��e# �°����°" h° ° D1°����^ <br /> (�`nmmiccinnor �nr! 4ho rom�ininn �,., �a� momhorc Who shall be appointed from, but not limited <br /> , <br /> to, such professions, disciplines and interests as: members of the Redwood City Heritage <br /> Association and other preservation related organizations; licensed architects and structural <br /> engineers; urban planners and landscape architects; attorneys and real estate experts; <br /> members of community groups and residents within historic districts, occupants of historic <br /> landmarks and owners of historic sites. ^'^+ '°°° +"°� {",° 'F` °��^" Such members shall, at the <br /> time of their appointment and continuously during their incumbency, be residents and electors of <br /> the City. <br /> , <br /> , <br /> , , <br /> ;;�o��ee.
