The primary goal is to preserve the existing affordable senior rental housing by upgrading the two elevators that serve the residents and the 133 June 30, 2011 community. The upgrade/modernization of the elevators will improve the quality and continued viability of affordable rental housing in Redwood City. This will permit Casa de Redwood to continue to provide quality service and preserve the rental housing it provides to seniors and disabled reside�ts of the City of Redwood City. Other secondary goals, collaborative actions, outreach, and emphasis to be conducted. The elevators are an essential part of the community. Community and sociai events take place on the 7'" floor regularly. These events are 133 Same as above sponsored by "Better Living for Seniors." Casa de Redwood residents participate in many activities throughout the community such as the Friday Night Concert Series offered by the City of Redwood City. As such an operational elevator(s) is a criticai part of Casa de Redwood residents lives. Contract performance will be measured by this quantitative goal.
