Attached is a map showing the area intended to be vacated. City's purpose of vacating this portion of <br /> the right-of-way is to accommodate Kaiser's Hospital's new emergency drop off area. This vacation <br /> proceeding is conducted under Chapter 3, Sedion 8320 et sea• of the Califomia Streets and Highways Code. <br /> BACKGROUND AND OTHER INFORMATION: <br /> A resolution of intent to vacate a portion of the Walnut Street right-of-way, containing the conditions required to <br /> be satisfied prior to such vacation taking effect, is on file for public inspection and copying for the cost of <br /> duplication at the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, between the <br /> hours of 8:00 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays. <br /> All testimony must either be given in person at the time of the public hearing or received in writing by the City <br /> Engineer prior to the date of the public hearing. Testimony cannot be given over the telephone. If you <br /> challenge any of the foregoing described actions in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you <br /> or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to <br /> the City Council at, or prior to, said public hearing.
